Annual Fishing Derby

The Orenda Canoe Club in Lake Echo held their annual fishing derby. This is one of the club's more popular fundraisers. Adults paid a $10 registration fee and kids got to fish for free. The trout were really biting on this day and many potential winners were being pulled out of the lake! Organizer Malcolm Firth was very pleased with the turnout and the support from local businesses that donated prizes for the derby. Congratulations to the organizers on a very well run, family event.
